Bust Measurement

Be sure and measure all the way around  the back and over the largest part of the bust. Please do not measure over clothes! The best measurements are taken over the under clothes (bra, camisole, etc.) you will actually be wearing with the dress. Depending on the clothes you are wearing, measuring over the clothes can change a measurement anywhere from 1/2 to 4 inches and result in a garment two sizes too small or too large.

Waist

Be sure and measure all the way around  the back and the smallest part of the waist. Please do not measure over clothes! The best measurements are taken over the under clothes (panties, stockings, etc.) you will actually be wearing with the dress. Depending on the clothes you are wearing, measuring over the clothes can change a measurement any were from 1/2 to 4 inches and result in a garment two sizes too small or too large.

Hip

Be sure and measure all the way around  the buttocks and the largest part of the hip. Please do not measure over clothes! The best measurements are taken over the under clothes (panties, stockings, etc.) you will actually be wearing with the dress. Depending on the clothes you are wearing, measuring over the clothes can change a measurement any were from 1/2 to 4 inches and result in a garment two sizes too small or too large.

Length

Measure from the top of the shoulder where a seam of a shirt or dress would be all the way down over the bust, to the waist, and straight down to the hem of where you want the garment to hang. Be sure you are wearing the shoes you will be using. This can make a big difference on this measurement. Every different pair of shoes will give you a different measurement.
